Basketball Game Preview: Richland Rams vs. Greater Johnstown Trojans + How To Watch

The Richland Rams will take on the Greater Johnstown Trojans at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Richland put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bellefonte 59-23. With the Rams ahead 44-9 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Trinity Macey and Leyna Roman were among the main playmakers for Richland as the former shot 60% from the field to rack up 12 points in addition to eight steals and seven rebounds and the latter went 6-for-11 on her way to 14 points and three steals. With that strong performance, Macey is now averaging an impressive 4.5 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Elleigh Ladika, who posted seven points.

Richland smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Greater Johnstown hadn't done well against Forest Hills recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Trojans slipped by the Rangers 55-54. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Greater Johnstown's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Richland, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
