Soccer Recap: Temple City Victorious

Temple City's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Their defense stepped up to hand the San Marino Titans a 2-0 shutout. For the Rams, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Kayla Day was the driving force of Temple City's attack as she scored both of Temple City's goals, bringing her season total up to 15 goals.

Temple City's win bumped their record up to 4-5-1. As for San Marino, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 3-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Monrovia the next time they take the pitch. San Marino will host Monrovia at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Temple City will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
