Baseball Recap: Crisp County Takes a Loss

Crisp County came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 16-5 to the Coffee Trojans. The Cougars have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Crisp County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-19. As for Coffee, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-11.

Looking ahead, Coffee will welcome Lowndes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crisp County will be paying especially close attention to the Trojans' game: after the Trojans face off against the Vikings, they'll take on Crisp County again at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
