Football Recap: Mountain Lake/Mountain Lake Christian Comes Up Short

Mountain Lake/Mountain Lake Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 45-6 loss at the hands of the Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons.

Mountain Lake/Mountain Lake Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Adrian/Ellsworth, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain Lake/Mountain Lake Christian will face off against New Ulm Cathedral at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Adrian/Ellsworth, they will square off against Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.8 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
