Baseball Recap: Stearns Minutemen vs. Lee Academy Pandas
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stearns). They put the hurt on the Lee Academy Pandas with a sharp 22-5 win on Wednesday. Considering the Minutemen have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Lincoln Daisey was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. Stearns is undefeated when Daisey posts two or more runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Ben Waite was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
