Basketball Recap: West Shore Christian Academy Takes a Loss

West Shore Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 36-20 to Christian School of York. The game marked West Shore Christian Academy's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Christian School of York's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charleigh Atkinson, who went 6 of 9 en route to 14 points and six rebounds. Kaitlynn Fuller was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

West Shore Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Christian School of York, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-10.

West Shore Christian Academy has already played their next match (against Harrisburg Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Christian School of York will take on New Covenant Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Covenant Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Christian School of York surely won't give up without a fight.
