Baseball Recap: St. Ignatius Comes Up Short

St. Ignatius fell victim to Stevensville and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 back in April.

St. Ignatius has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Stevensville, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8.

St. Ignatius does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stevensville, they will challenge Noxon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
