Baseball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Ware County Gators, falling 8-1. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Ware County, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ware County beat Perry by a score of 4-2 later that day.
