Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plainville). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 69-18 win over the Syracuse Bulldogs. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas football rankings (they are ranked 108th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 230th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory got Plainville back to even at 3-3. As for Syracuse, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Coincidentally, Plainville and Syracuse will both be playing Thomas More Prep-Marian the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Monarchs on Friday, while the Cardinals will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
