Vistamar's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They breezed by the New Roads Jaguars to the tune of 44-15. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 24 points or more this season.

Vistamar's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for New Roads, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Vistamar and New Roads' offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Vistamar will square off against Hawthorne Math & Science Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, a squad that's only allowed 18.54 points per game. Similarly, New Roads and Geffen Academy (who has only given up 15.6 points per game) will meet on Wednesday.
