Chowchilla piles up the points against Delhi

The Chowchilla Tribe can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They breezed by Delhi at home to the tune of 55-4. The victory was just what Chowchilla needed coming off of a 47-25 defeat in their prior game.

Chowchilla was led to victory by Nour Escheik and Molly Silva. Escheik dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Silva scored 12 points along with 6 steals. Silva is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kylah Marceaux, who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds.

Chowchilla's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Delhi, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Chowchilla will face off against Pacheco at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Delhi, they will be playing at home against Turlock Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Turlock Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Thursday.
