Soccer Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

The matchup between Danville and Mt. Pleasant on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Bears came up short against the Panthers, falling 10-0. Danville were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mt. Pleasant apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Danville and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Danville will challenge Mediapolis at 5:30 p.m. on the 10th. As for Mt. Pleasant, they have already played their next match, a 10-0 win against New London on the 1st.
