On Wednesday, the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Alexander Cougars 4-3.

Kennesaw Mountain is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. The defeat snapped Alexander's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-12 record.
