However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Shawnee Mission North Bison will look to defend their home field against the Lawrence Lions. Shawnee Mission North has given up an average of 41.2 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Shawnee Mission North is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Shawnee Mission East on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Bison were dealt a 49-21 defeat at the hands of the Lancers. The Bison were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.
