Basketball Recap: Blair County Christian Comes Up Short

If Blair County Christian was riding high fresh off their 45-17 takedown of Clearfield Alliance Christian last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The contest between the Blair County Christian Bobcats and the Johnstown Christian Bluejays didn't end well, with the Blair County Christian Bobcats falling 45-28. The Bobcats have struggled against the Bluejays recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why Blair County Christian lost on Tuesday, don't look at Gabi Dull. Despite the final result, she posted 14 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.

Even though they lost, Blair County Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in 17 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Blair County Christian's record is now 11-5. As for Johnstown Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.
