Lumpkin County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They didn't even let the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets on the board on Wednesday, marking the Indians' second-straight 15-0 shutout. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by seven runs or more this season.

The win (which was Lumpkin County's fifth in a row) raised their record to 24-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Southeast Bulloch, their loss dropped their record down to 20-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Yellow Jackets beat Lumpkin County by a score of 5-3 later that day.
