Basketball Game Preview: Central City Bison vs. Broken Bow Indians

For the first time this season, Central City will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will take on the Broken Bow Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Broken Bow will be up against a hot Central City team: the squad just extended their winning streak to six. The Bison took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 56-12 win over Fullerton. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-7.

Central City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Reagan Fousek led the charge by putting up 21 points. Those 21 points gave Fousek a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hope Paup, who posted 14 points.

Meanwhile, Broken Bow made easy work of Cozad on Thursday and carried off a 54-30 victory.

Central City's win bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Broken Bow, their victory bumped their record up to 15-9.
