Winchester Thurston waltzed into their matchup  on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Frazier Commodores 64-27. Given Winchester Thurston's advantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings  (they are ranked 231st, while Frazier is ranked 624th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Several Commodores players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Chloe Harger, who  posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Malana Burton, who  put up eight  points and ten  boards.
Winchester Thurston's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.7 points per game. As for Frazier,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Frazier will take on Chartiers-Houston at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
