Banning entered their tilt with Cathedral City on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They took down the Cathedral City Lions 45-28. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 51-18 last Tuesday.

Banning's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Symora Prince, who posted 18 points in addition to eight rebounds and three blocks. Nylea Smith was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.

Banning's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-5. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.6 points per game. As for Cathedral City, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
