Dawson County posted their closest win since April 18, 2025 on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the White County Warriors 6-4. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Warriors on Tuesday, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Dawson County's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for White County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.

Dawson County will have a chance to go back-to-back against White County: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Friday.
