Soccer Recap: Morro Bay Comes Up Short

After flying high against Coastal Christian last Thursday, Morro Bay came back down to earth. Morro Bay fell just short of Reedley by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Morro Bay couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Chava Brody, who's now up to seven this season.

Morro Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Reedley, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Morro Bay will challenge Pioneer Valley at 6:00 p.m. on December 4. As for Reedley, they will take on Porterville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
