Volleyball Recap: North Central Thunderbirds vs. Linton-Stockton Miners

North Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Linton-Stockton Miners. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Thunderbirds of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While North Central was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Linton-Stockton's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-14, 25-15.

Linton-Stockton found their leader in sophomore Taylor Warrick, who had seven digs and five aces. Olivia Tharp also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

North Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Linton-Stockton, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
