Western waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Saddleback Roadrunners by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for Western: when they faced off against Saddleback on January 14th, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Western's victory bumped their record up to 7-5-2. As for Saddleback, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1-1 and their overall record down to 9-4-3.

Western does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saddleback, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Rancho Alamitos on the 2nd.
