Basketball Recap: Westmont Hilltop Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Westmont Hilltop lost against Bishop Carroll back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers fell to the Bishop Carroll Huskies 40-35. While losing is never fun, the Hilltoppers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Huskies are ranked 89th).

Bishop Carroll found their leader in sophomore Ava Pablic, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds.

Westmont Hilltop's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7. As for Bishop Carroll, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westmont Hilltop will venture away from home to challenge Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Carroll, they are taking a road trip to take on Hollidaysburg at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
