If Philipsburg-Osceola wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bellwood-Antis, they should've done a better job of containing Lilly Gerwert. The Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers 56-14 thanks in part to Gerwert, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last ten times she's played.

Isabella Sloey was another key player, putting up eight points. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in blocks (two).

Despite the loss, Philipsburg-Osceola still got an impressive performance from Emily Gustkey, who posted seven points.

Bellwood-Antis' victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Philipsburg-Osceola, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.

Bellwood-Antis has already played their next contest, a 55-45 win against Bald Eagle Area on the 11th. As for Philipsburg-Osceola, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-28 loss against Hollidaysburg on the 10th.
