Baseball Recap: St. Francis Comes Up Short

St. Francis lost to Sacred Heart Academy back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Gladiators took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Irish. The Gladiators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Francis got a good showing from Tyler Endres, who pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Endres has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Sacred Heart Academy, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2.

While St. Francis had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
