Makena Moffat was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
Moffat wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Isabel Manville, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Albany will venture away from home to square off against North Harrison at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Harrison, they will head out to take on Putnam County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Midgets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
