After a string of five wins, The Palmdale Aerospace Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 43-26 bruising from the Faith Baptist Contenders. If the Griffins were looking for revenge after losing 42-14 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Faith Baptist's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gianna Ramirez, who posted ten points along with six boards and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaelyn Hilmo, who put up nine points and four steals.
