Basketball Recap: Nueva Esperanza Takes a Loss

After flying high against Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech two weeks ago, Nueva Esperanza came back down to earth. Nueva Esperanza fell to the Franklin Learning Center Bobcats 34-28.

Nueva Esperanza has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Franklin Learning Center, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.

Nueva Esperanza won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Thomas A. Edison at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin Learning Center, they and Northeast will face off at 3:15 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
