Softball Recap: BCLUW Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

BCLUW won the last time they faced Colo-NESCO and things went their way on Friday too. The Comets put the hurt on the Royals with a sharp 13-1 win. Considering the Comets have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

BCLUW's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Colo-NESCO, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. BCLUW will face off against rival GMG at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Comets 3, the Wolverines 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Colo-NESCO is set to take on their familiar foe Collins-Maxwell at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
