            Softball Recap: Perkins-Tryon Demons vs. Bristow Pirates        
        
		
        
        
            Perkins-Tryon was the  9-0 winner over Bristow when they last played one another  on September 5th, but their luck changed this time around. The Demons fell just short of the Pirates by a score of  7-6 on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Demons have lost by  just one  run.
  Landry Shepherd was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.  Emily VanLuven was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run.
This is the second loss in a row for Perkins-Tryon and  nudges their season record down to 5-14. Even worse, they were so close both times: the  losses came by an average of only one runs. As for Bristow, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-14.
 Coming up, Perkins-Tryon will challenge Washington at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Bristow does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
