Soccer Recap: Vacaville Takes a Loss

Vacaville and Granite Bay squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Vacaville had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Granite Bay Grizzlies by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Vacaville's loss dropped their record down to 18-2. As for Granite Bay, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-7.

Vacaville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Granite Bay, they will challenge Cosumnes Oaks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cosumnes Oaks will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Granite Bay surely won't give up without a fight.
