After flying high against Ridgeland last Thursday, North Murray came back down to earth. The North Murray Mountaineers fell just short of the Ringgold Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Mountaineers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

North Murray's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-3. As for Ringgold, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Murray will challenge Sonoraville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ringgold, they will face off against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th.
