Softball Recap: Kingfisher Takes a Loss

The Kingfisher Yellowjackets came up short against the Plainview Indians on Thursday and fell 5-1. That's two games in a row now that the Yellowjackets have lost by exactly four runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Kingfisher and nudges their season record down to 13-6. As for Plainview, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season.

While Kingfisher had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
