Recap: Fowler Redcats vs. Yosemite Badgers

The Fowler Redcats can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 65-40 margin over Yosemite. Winning may never get old, but Fowler sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Yosemite lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jadyn Johnson. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Johnson is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Izzy Harper was another key contributor, scoring three points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Fowler pushed their record up to 13-9 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Yosemite, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fowler will challenge Caruthers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Caruthers' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight games. As for Yosemite, they will head out on the road to challenge Sierra at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Sierra presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Yosemite in California (Sierra is ranked 337th, while Yosemite is ranked 1052nd).
