In what's become a running theme this season, High Point Baptist Academy gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. Everything went their way against Coventry Christian as High Point Baptist Academy made off with a 44-22 victory. The win was just what High Point Baptist Academy needed coming off of a 59-23 loss in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Christian School of York had to settle for a 41-38 defeat against Veritas Academy on Thursday.
Despite their defeat, Christian School of York saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Rylie Bell, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds and four steals, was perhaps the best of all. That was a full 60.5% of Christian School of York's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Cally Carpenter, who scored nine points along with six steals.
High Point Baptist Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Christian School of York, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.
