Soccer Recap: Galloway Comes Up Short

Galloway managed to slip by Atlanta Classical Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Galloway Scots lost 5-2 to the Atlanta Classical Academy Cavaliers on Tuesday. The Scots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cavaliers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Chris Ingram wasn't going to let Atlanta Classical Academy walk away unscathed as he scored both of Galloway's goals, bringing his season total up to two goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Galloway and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Atlanta Classical Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Galloway has already played their next game, an 8-1 defeat against Fulton Science Academy on the 14th. As for Atlanta Classical Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Mt. Zion at 7:30 p.m. on March 18th. Atlanta Classical Academy will be up against Mt. Zion's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.43 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
