Atkinson County entered their tilt with Echols County on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 5-1. The Rebels have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Atkinson County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Clement, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. The Rebels are undefeated when Clement posts two or more runs, but 9-14 otherwise.

Atkinson County's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-14. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Echols County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-19.
