A well-balanced attack led Marion Center over Conemaugh Valley in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Marion Center Stingers blew the Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays out of the water with a 62-32 final score. The Stingers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Penelope Reininger and Illy Darcangelo certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Reininger posted 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals, while Darcangelo had nine points and four steals. Reininger has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Marion Center's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Conemaugh Valley, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Marion Center won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cambria Heights at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Conemaugh Valley, they will head out to challenge Penns Manor at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Penns Manor will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Conemaugh Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
