Baseball Game Preview: Collins Hill Eagles vs. Plainfield North Tigers

The Collins Hill Eagles will face off against the Plainfield North Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Collins Hill comes in on three and Plainfield North on four.

On Friday, Collins Hill got the win against Central Gwinnett by a conclusive 11-1. Considering the Eagles have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Hunter Lee was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Collins Hill is 6-1 when Lee posts two or more runs, but 7-8 otherwise. Ruben Balderas was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, while Plainfield North put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Neuqua Valley. Plainfield North blew past Neuqua Valley 15-0. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Plainfield North's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Collins Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.
