Softball Recap: Peach County Has No Trouble Against Warner Robins

While Peach County put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Warner Robins. The Trojans put the hurt on the Demons with a sharp 12-0 win. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Demons recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Shaniyah Gibson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Gibson was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in October of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alyssa Crozier, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Taleyah Marable, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Peach County's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Warner Robins, they now also have a losing record of 5-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peach County will head out to take on Monroe at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warner Robins, they will venture away from home to face off against Rutland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Demons are facing the Hurricanes at the right time seeing as the Hurricanes are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
