Miami waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with 17 straight wins... but they left with 18. They took their game with ease, bagging a 102-29 victory over the St. Augustine Catholic Wolves. The Vandals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miami to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tamia Pietila, who dropped a triple-double on 35 points, ten boards, and 13 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Pietila has scored at least a third of Miami's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Demetria Dosela, who dropped a triple-double on 23 points, 13 rebounds, and ten assists.

Miami smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 32 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Miami pushed their record up to 22-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.4 points per game. As for St. Augustine Catholic, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miami will head out to take on San Tan Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Miami is facing San Tan Charter at the right time seeing as San Tan Charter is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for St. Augustine Catholic, they are taking a road trip to challenge Bisbee at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
