West won the last time they faced South and things went their way on Wednesday too. The West Vikings walked away with a 43-31 win over the South Spartans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

West's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-7. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.7 points per game. As for South, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West will take on Foothill at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South, they will challenge East Bakersfield at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
