Football Recap: Medford Comes Up Short

Medford fell victim to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 59-0 defeat at the hands of the Buccaneers. The Tigers have struggled against the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Medford's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Medford is set to take on their familiar foe St. Clair/Loyola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Waterville-Elysian-Morristown will challenge rival Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
