Soccer Recap: Bishop Ready Victorious

Bishop Ready kept a clean sheet against Centennial on Saturday. They skirted past the Stars 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Bishop Ready were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Yahir Herrera, which was the first he's scored this season.

The win made it two in a row for Bishop Ready and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Bishop Ready will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Whitehall-Yearling at 5:30 p.m. As for Centennial, they are taking a road trip to take on West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
