Soccer Game Preview: Darlington vs. Bremen

The Darlington Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Bremen Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Darlington fell victim to Cedartown and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Darlington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 309th, while Cedartown are ranked 83rd).

Meanwhile, Bremen narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Social Circle 3-2.

Bremen is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those five matchups. As for Darlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
