It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Strong Rock Christian had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Calvary Christian Knights. This was a revenge game for the Patriots: when they faced off against the Knights back in March, they had to take a 9-8 defeat.

Strong Rock Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-17 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Calvary Christian, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-13.

Strong Rock Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair will be back at it again later today.
