Football Recap: Robertson's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

If Robertson was feeling good fresh off their 51-0 takedown of Cobre last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cardinals fell 8-0 to the Santa Rosa Lions on Friday. Surprisingly, this marked the Cardinals' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Nathan Gonzales threw for 57 yards on seven of 16 attempts. Andres Sanchez was his top target, picking up 28 receiving yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Robertson fell to 2-1. As for Santa Rosa, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Robertson will venture away from home to take on Ruidoso at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Santa Rosa, they will welcome Tularosa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
