Soccer Game Preview: Gustine vs. Stone Ridge Christian

The Gustine Reds will head out to take on the Stone Ridge Christian Knights at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Gustine took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Mariposa County, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Reds came out on top in a nail-biter against the Grizzlies on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for Gustine.

Meanwhile, Stone Ridge Christian kept a clean sheet against Waterford on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 10-0 victory. Stone Ridge Christian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by four goals or more this season.

Gustine's record is now 3-12. As for Stone Ridge Christian, their record now sits at 12-1-1.

Gustine might still be hurting after the 6-0 loss they got from Stone Ridge Christian when the teams last played on January 8th. Can the Reds avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
