Soccer Recap: Woodlake Takes a Loss

Woodlake was the 3-1 winner over Firebaugh when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Monday. Woodlake have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Aubrey Perez wasn't going to let Firebaugh walk away unscathed as she scored both of Woodlake's goals, bringing her season total up to two goals.

Woodlake now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Firebaugh, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Woodlake wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Avenal on the 26th. As for Firebaugh, they have also already played their next matchup, a 5-2 win against Roosevelt on the 2nd.
